ABOUT

I have been an artist for the majority of my life. The act of creating has been a constant theme running through everything I do. Working in glass, bronze, wood, paint, found objects, and photography has given me the opportunity to explore my creativity and push the boundaries of what art is. My sculptures and photos are meant to be evocative and thought provoking.

I have 20+ years of experience teaching glass, mixed-media sculpture and woodworking. I taught bronze and kiln cast glass casting at The Crucible in Oakland and at Tulane University. I received my M.F.A. in Glass Sculpture from Tulane University and my B.F.A. from Kent State University. I also attended the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State. My focus is on mixed media sculpture with other found and repurposed elements and photography. I currently work and teach out of my own studio in Vallejo, CA. My sculptures and photographs have been exhibited nationally.
